Tutorial Session. What did I learn? Interesting stuff.

imagine something like this (THE GRID) become something like this below.

 

looks like a cross between coral and spikey durian?

try to put a donut/ring in the tallest spike there.

 

really a nice design if somewhat random. only that the elevation look kind of plain

Learn how to draw 3D form out of 2 curve lines!!

overview of all so far!!

 

Noticed the different look? Previous one got sort of crash (lag until the computer close it down =( )

This time learn how to poke the 3D curve model and extend structure from it.

P.s: trim/cut of the hole before thicken the model. Offset to extend the structure.

 

 

 

Time to start doing crazy design with this Program!!!

First day touching 3DMax. trying to figure out what button do what and what effect can it do.

look.....A cube =D

 

trying to put cylinder on top the cube corner.

How hard can it be??? (NOT REALLY)

Stacking another cone on top of the 4 columns

 

 

same thing but different view?

 

Conclusion: Different from AutoCAD in term of button control. Harder to use than Google Sketchup and slightly the same as AutoCAD.

Like it and hope to learn more.

 

Things to note:

Try to use different setting on grip and blah blah setting to reach the target.
